FYI the kit comes with dough, organic olive oil, tomato sauce, non-vegan cheese ☹️, non-vegan chorizo ☹️ + I switched the cheese, added garlic soaked in chilli oil + green chilli 🌶

all in all: pretty darn good! our oven is a bit rubbish so the pizza isn’t as cooked as I’d like but hey ho 😎

Light and delicate, soft and spreadable. It can be combined with fresh or cooked vegetables and all legumes, very good also simply spread on bread or on crackers for a snack, delicious with some olives or fresh or dried tomatoes on top.
It can also be useful in the preparation of vegetable béchamel, to prepare excellent creamy sauces for pasta and cereals.

Due to its proximity to the sea, seafood is also in abundance and mussels are the most common seafood eaten in this region. We have recently discovered @ilgalletto_streetfood, the only place we have seen in Sydney that specialises in Puglia street food. Selling traditional handmade Puglia street food, using quality imported ingredients from the region, you can find them at the Bondi Junction Markets on Fridays and Paddington Markets on Saturdays.

We tried the Il Murgiano Panzerotto Barese - the freshly made pastry made using organic Italian flour was a delight to bite into, revealing the lovely filling of cheese, ham, tomatoes and mushrooms, with the beautiful olive oil used to fry this made it extra delicious. The traditional dish of Tiella Barese of baked rice, potatoes, mussels, fish, pecorino cheese and tomatoes was also very satisfying and the perfect warmer for a cold day. Highly recommended for anyone that have not tried this cuisine before.

For the vegans out there, they also make vegan option of their Panzerotto, using organic Italian vegan mozzarella.
